Here are a few recipes for you to toast to 2015. Cheers!
3 oz. ginger beer
1 ½ oz. vodka
Fresh lime juice from half a lime
Fresh mint (optional)
Fill your copper mug with crushed ice and pour the vodka over top.
Give it a good squeeze of lime juice.
Top with ginger beer and stir.
Garnish with lime slice or fresh mint.
1-1.5 shots of bourbon
5 fl oz. ginger beer
Juice of one lime
Fill glass with 4-5 ice cubes.
Pour in your shot(s) of bourbon.
Add the juice of one lime then the chilled ginger beer until glass is full.
Stir, then top off with a lime wedge on the side and serve.
2 shots light rum
Combine all ingredients in a glass over ice.
1 oz. lime juice
½ cup Cock ‘n Bull Ginger Beer (or Bundaberg Ginger Beer)
1 tablespoon simple syrup
2 oz. sparkling water, tonic or club soda
Ice cubes- 3 to 5 depending on your preference
Fill your copper mug with simple syrup, ice and pour the ginger beer over top.
Add the lime juice and stir.
Optional – A little lemon and ginger beer in the ice cube slots works well to keep the drink from getting watered down.
2 tablespoons ginger syrup
3/4 cup sparkling apple cider
1 cinnamon stick
1 piece crystallized ginger
Place the 2 tablespoons ginger syrup in your glass.
Fill glass with ice cubes, pour in cider, and stir to combine.
Garnish with cinnamon sticks and fresh ginger, and serve.
1/4 cup cranberry juice*
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 cups chilled sparkling cider
Lemon peels, for garnish
Combine the cranberry juice with the lemon juice.
Add sparkling cider.
Divide between 2 glasses, and garnish each with a lemon peel.
*This drink can also be made with pomegranate, black-currant, or grape juice.
