Quantum Secure is led by a forward-thinking group of executives and entrepreneurs with a collective blend of visionary leadership and a wide-range of expertise in security, technology, marketing and services.  Together, they bring decades of experience to the challenge of building and expanding the market for physical identity and access management.

Our company’s management team has a wide range of executive experience in companies such as IBM, Netscape, Clarify, Quantum, Xerox, Honeywell, TRW, TYCO, Checkpoint Systems, Smith Kline Beecham, Siemens, Cadence, Nortel Networks, Cisco, VeriSign, Amdocs and others and have led high-tech start-up enterprises for a number of years.

Ajay Jain,
President and CEO
Ajay Jain is the President and CEO of Quantum Secure, Inc. where he is responsible for setting the company's vision and strategy along with managing the daily operations. In 2002, Ajay's start up, Mokume Software, a real-time enterprise software company in the field of manufacturing and security, was acquired by Versant Corp (Nasdaq: VSNT). Prior to that, Ajay co-founded MarketFirst Software, which was acquired by Pivotal (Nasdaq: PVTL). Ajay has also held senior and executive management positions at Clarify, Qdecor and Netscape.

Ajay holds an MBA from Santa Clara University, an MS in Computer and Information Science from Clarkson University with advanced courses from Stanford University. Ajay co-authored a college-level book titled Basic Mathematical Economics.

Vik Ghai
CTO and Vice President, Products
Vik Ghai is responsible for product vision and development at Quantum Secure. Previously, Vik co-founded Mokume Software, Inc. which was acquired by Versant Corp (Nasdaq: VSNT) in 2002. At Mokume, Vik managed all levels of operations including company vision, customer and partner relationship management, negotiations, product design, and software engineering. Prior to Mokume, Vik worked with TRW and Smith Kline Beecham advising them on efficient operational, manufacturing, IT and ERP strategies (specifically configuring SAP R/3, ORACLE). Earlier Vik worked with R&D teams at Checkpoint Systems to build their next generation electronic article surveillance (anti-shoplifting) systems.

Vik holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University at Chicago, IL and BS in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University at Philadelphia, PA.

Scott Sieracki
Vice President, Global Sales
Scott Sieracki is the VP of Global Sales for Quantum Secure. Scott is a seasoned executive with over 17 years of experience driving revenues and building distribution channels for Fortune 100 and 500 companies as well as several start-up companies in past. Most recently Scott was Director of Sales at Tyco / Software House (NYSE:TYC) and was responsible for their access control and American Dynamics video product sales. Under Scott's leadership, Tyco/ Software House's revenues grew dramatically year over year.

Scott has previously held a senior executive position at Open Options, Inc. and senior sales management positions at Vertical Net. Scott holds a BS degree.

Laurie Aaron
Vice President, Business Development & Corporate Marketing
As Vice President, Business Development & Corporate Marketing, Laurie oversees all Corporate Marketing initiatives and is responsible for developing Vertical Market Programs. In addition, Laurie has been directly responsible for some of Quantum Secures largest strategic customers such as San Francisco Airport, Oracle Worldwide, the Empire State Building and the new World Trade Center in New York City. Prior to Quantum Secure, Laurie was the Director of Strategic Sales for Tyco Fire & Security's Access Control (NYSE:TYC) and Video Systems business unit, which included brands such as Software House and American Dynamics. Laurie has over 15 years experience in the physical security industry with particular expertise in card technology and physical access control.

Laurie was voted to the Board of Directors for Security Industry Association (SIA) beginning January 2012. As such she will participate on Quantum Secure's behalf in several industry working groups and standards initiatives. A strong proponent of the concept of converging Physical security with Information Security and Technology, she engaged with the Open Security Exchange (OSE) from inception in 2004 and served on the Board and is stepped down as Chairman of the Board in December 2011. Laurie is also an active member in American Society for Industrial Security International (ASIS) and has conducted several educational seminars for ASIS over the past 5 years.

Laurie holds a B.S. degree in Marketing with two years concentrated in Engineering from the University of Connecticut.

Shailendra Sharma
Vice President, Engineering and R&D
Shailendra Sharma is responsible for leading the R&D team. Previously, Shailendra has served in Nortel Networks and Lucent Technologies as the architect and engineering team lead designing network convergence, management, performance, customer management and security products for tier-1 telecom and enterprise customers. He has a track record of turning next generation research into viable products and his work has led to patents in such diverse fields as Secure Mobile Network Management and Software Application Design. He was recipient of Top Talent award from the CEO of Nortel Networks and drove product design initiatives recognized for Core Bell Labs Teamwork Award.

Shailendra holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and Applications.

Andy Kuchel
Director, Channel Business Development
As Director of Customer Engagements, Andy is responsible for managing customer projects and services across the Quantum Secure client base. Previously, Andy held the position of Director, Program Management at ActivIdentity (Nasdaq: ACTI) where he was responsible for R&D programs in the logical authentication, PKI and smartcard space (PIV). Additionally, Andy draws on 11+ years in management consultancy with PricewaterhouseCoopers (now IBM Global Services) where he managed and delivered various multi-national enterprise technology and business process re-engineering solutions. Andy utilizes his broad experience in security, technology and ERP solutions design and delivery to insure Quantum Secure customers draw on best practices available for security and their industry. A strong customer focus and development of delivery methodology mark Andy's contributions to Quantum Secure.

Andy holds a B.S. in Computer Science, is fluent in Spanish, has been formally trained in Prince2 (ITIL) and numerous business consultancy specialties.

Purna Chandra Rao K
Principle Architect and Senior Director of India Operations
Purna Chandra Rao K is the Principle Architect for Quantum Secure, where he is responsible for product architecture, management and the delivery of Quantum Secure products.

Previously, Purna was a Delivery Manager for IBM India where he was responsible for leading the development teams of A&ES and IBM FM products. He has also served as Project Lead with Oracle India Pvt. Ltd and was involved in the development of Oracle's Discoverer Application. His extensive experience in product development and management guides the team in transforming vision into products.

Purna holds a Master's degree from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from NIT Warangal (RECW).
