SAFE Policy and Integration Server: Centralized Physical Security Automation

The industry’s first and patent-pending physical security policy server offers a powerful approach to securing large and complex physical security environments. The SAFE Policy and Integration Server (Policy Server) lets you automate your physical security operations with centralized security policies, no matter how many diverse vendors or disjointed proprietary technologies it includes. The SAFE Policy Server allows you to make physical security management fast, easy, and cost-effective by centralizing and automating what has traditionally been an intensely manual and error-laden process. You can deploy global end-to-end security business processes from a centralized Web-based console, regardless of the underlying security infrastructure.

Using Quantum Secure's patent-pending technology, you can visually define global or regional security policies such as access card provisioning and termination, access change, badge issuance, false alarm identification, etc. on a process-by-process basis. The SAFE Policy and Integration Server applies these security/business policies on every security event or message that is transmitted within your physical security infrastructure.

Off-The-Shelf Functionality With No Need To Write Code

With the SAFE Policy Server, you can integrate and interoperate heterogeneous physical security systems and create cross-over business processes with IT/HR systems. Physical security systems can seamlessly interoperate with applications like SAP, PeopleSoft, IDMS systems, LDAP, ActiveDirectory, etc., with broad out-of-the-box support and universal connector agents extending security policies in physical security & IT environments. Use the SAFE Visual Policy Editor to graphically organize a defined group of “SAFE Live Objects” and illustrate your security business process including conditions, loops, schedules etc. without writing any code or programming know-how.
