The agreement enables Johnson Controls to offer enterprise-level physical security identity and credentials management solutions to customers, regardless of their physical access control providers

The standards-based open platform allows for unprecedented integration of multiple systems such as complex physical security systems, human resources applications, IT systems and applications under a unified enterprise policy paradigm. Completing a worldwide valueadded reseller agreement with Quantum Secure further enhances Johnson Controls' global integration capabilities.

With more than 20 years of experience in security consulting and security systems, Gerbl most recently served as global construction accounts manager at Milwaukee-based Johnson Controls. During his six-year tenure with the company, Gerbl was responsible for business development, project management and security program consulting services.

Prior to Johnson Controls, Gerbl served as area sales manager for Sensormatic Electronics, maker of electronic anti-theft tags and devices for retailers. During his career with Sensormatic, Gerbl played an integral role in growing key vertical markets, including helping drive 300 percent growth in the government sector. Earlier, Gerbl served as director of product marketing for Mosler, Inc, a maker of video surveillance systems. He began his career as a regional manager for San Francisco-based McMillan Technology.
