Quantum Secure Celebrates Another Year of Strong Growth at ASIS 2009
New Products, Key Partnerships and Expanded Team Mark Company’s Continued Momentum
San Jose, Calif., Sept. 23, 2009 – Quantum Secure, Inc. (www.quantumsecure.com), the exclusive provider of enterprise software to manage and streamline security identities, compliance and events across disparate physical security systems, reported another record year at ASIS 2009, highlighted by record revenues, new product announcements, key management team additions and several new partnerships.
The company noted the success of these focused strategies has contributed to Quantum Secure’s strong customer roster, featuring a few marquee names such as well-known enterprise organizations as the San Francisco International Airport, Adobe Systems, Baxter Health Care, Juniper Networks, the Empire State Building, Port of Virginia, The Irvine Company, Symantec Corporation and the Toronto Pearson International Airport. Other customer wins include major international airports, large healthcare organizations and highly regulated government agencies.
“Despite the challenges in the economy, 2009 has been a very strong year for our company,” said Ajay Jain, Quantum Secure president and CEO. “Our growth has been substantial, our customer list impressive and now, more than ever, the value proposition of the SAFE software suite is proving to be very strong, helping our customers reduce costs, ensure compliance and lower their overall levels of risk.”
While at ASIS, Quantum Secure continued its market leadership by launching another new product module, SAFE Analytics. SAFE Analytics solution is a Web-based solution that provides an executive-level, graphical dashboard view of the overall state of their global physical security infrastructure. By monitoring, identifying and analyzing key data generated from various operational systems, security practitioners can more effectively manage their security operations, meet the latest compliance regulations and lower both costs and risks.
Jain also noted Quantum Secure’s growing roster of high-visibility systems integrators (SIs), value-added resellers (VARs) and channel partners as a major asset in the company’s expanded commitment to deliver its physical identity and access management solutions.
Quantum Secure forged several new channel partnerships in 2009, including Andrews International, Henry Bros. Electronics, Inc. and Reece Complete Security Solutions. With these new additions, Quantum Secure’s current partner list includes Johnson Controls, Active Identity, CoreStreet, Deloitte, General Electric, HID, IBM, Lenel, Microsoft, Oracle, Sun Microsystems, Tyco/Software House and the Open Security Exchange.
In support of this partner base growth, Quantum Secure hired Janette Andler and Loren Lloyd in the role of global channel managers. Both will continue the development of key strategic and channel partners across both the physical and logical security arenas. Andler and Lloyd have years of dedicated channel experience, working with physical security manufacturers and systems integrators such as Tyco/Software House and G4S Technology.
Additionally, the team increased its focus on the government space with the hiring of Curtis Jennings as federal account manager. At Quantum Secure, Jennings will be dedicated to the federal market, providing insight and leadership regarding the SAFE for Government software solution.
The SAFE for Government solution, designed using NIST SP800.116 best practices and recommendations, leverages existing physical and IT infrastructures and automates key internal processes, resulting in reduced operational costs and risk.
“With these strong additions to our team, I am looking forward to continuing our momentum in the marketplace,” added Jain. “As the worlds of physical and logical security continue to converge, and our customers are exhibiting tremendous cost savings and operational efficiencies, the Quantum Secure ecosystem of partners, technologies and customers will only grow at an exponential rate.”
